Eli H. Klein helps represent clients in a wide range of areas, including business and corporate disputes, corporate investigations, criminal defense, and international arbitration. Additional matters involve issues relating to environmental, patent and trademark, securities, toxic tort, and product liability claims.
Eli spent one year as a law clerk for Judge R. Barclay Surrick of the US District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He returned to the firm in 2017 upon completion of his clerkship.
During law school, Eli served as a senior editor for the Journal of International Law and was president of the Penn Law Entertainment and Sports Law Society. He also earned a certificate in management from The Wharton School. Also while in law school, Eli was a co-organizer for the inaugural Penn Law Sports Law Symposium, the executive director of Street Law, and worked for the Philadelphia Defender Association as a member of the Criminal Defense Clinic. Additionally, Eli interned for the Orleans Parish District Attorney’s Office and for Chief Judge J. Curtis Joyner of the US District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Prior to attending law school, Eli served two years with Teach For America in Miami-Dade County, where he taught high school math and was the head varsity baseball coach.
