Emily L. Calmeyer advises clients on a range of complex commercial litigation issues, including healthcare, product liability, tort, real estate, environmental, insurance, and corporate governance matters. She also maintains an active pro bono practice. Emily has a background in real estate and before joining Morgan Lewis, served as regional chief development officer for the American Red Cross, California Northwest Region. In 2011, Emily was named to the North Bay Business Journal’s Forty under 40 list.
Emily previously served as a judicial extern for Judge Kim McLane Wardlaw at the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and was a law clerk at Bet Tzedek Legal Services. She is currently a member of the Bet Tzedek New Leadership Council. While in law school, Emily was a managing editor of the UCLA Journal of International Law & Foreign Affairs and an associate editor for the human rights and international criminal law online journal, ICCforum.com. Emily also studied at Institut d’Etudes Politiques in Grenoble, France.
