Emily E. Coury utilizes her professional experience and technical background to provide clients with strategies to safeguard their intellectual property and to provide solutions that help achieve their business goals. Emily’s practice focuses on all aspects of patent drafting and portfolio management, including US and foreign patent prosecution, particularly in the life sciences field.

Emily works closely with clients across a range of technical fields, such as pharmaceuticals, enzyme replacement therapies, diagnostics, and other therapeutics, in order to identify inventive concepts for patent protection and develop prosecution and portfolio life cycle management strategies. She also assists with freedom-to-operate analyses, due diligence reviews, and patent landscape searches.
