Dr. Florian Hinderer advises clients on all aspects of EU and German competition law. His practice particularly includes advising on EU and German merger control as well as on distribution systems and cartel investigations. Florian represents clients in proceedings before the European Commission and the German Federal Cartel Office. He has particular experience in the healthcare, life sciences, and chemicals sectors. His doctoral thesis focused on market definition issues in merger control filings including in the healthcare sector.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Florian served as a legal clerk at the District Court of Stuttgart and worked for several years as a research assistant in the antitrust and life science practice groups of leading international law firms in Munich (Germany) and Brussels (Belgium).
