Hans Gerling-Ritters focuses his practice on tax controversy matters. In law school, he worked as a research assistant preparing updates for the transfer pricing treatise, Transfer Pricing: Rules, Compliance, and Controversy. Hans was a founding member of the Georgetown Law pro bono board and he volunteered for the DC Earned Income Tax Clinic, preparing tax returns for low-income individuals and families.
Prior to law school, Hans competed internationally in eventing, an Olympic equestrian sport.
