Harris T. Berenson counsels on a wide variety of litigation matters in numerous industries, focusing on electronic discovery and information governance. Harris provides legal and strategic advice regarding all aspects of eDiscovery, including developing, implementing and executing discovery strategies in complex domestic and international litigation matters. He partners with in-house legal and IT to apply best practices and provide efficient eDiscovery solutions.
Before joining Morgan Lewis, Harris was senior counsel and the East Coast regional manager for the eDiscovery and information governance (eDIG) group in the New York office of another multinational law firm, where his practice focused on electronic discovery counseling throughout the EDRM. Harris counseled clients on both large and small matters through all phases of discovery practice, including legal holds, client interviews and litigation readiness, as well as document identification, preservation, collection, review and production.
Prior to that, Harris was eDiscovery counsel in the New York office of another international law firm, where he was a founding member of firm’s eDiscovery practice group. His litigation practice focused on eDiscovery counseling and advice for complex commercial and pharmaceutical product liability litigations. Harris also managed and led large scale discovery projects involving multiple law firms and hundreds of document review attorneys.
