Julia L. Bringhurst handles a variety of benefits matters, including amending and restating qualified retirement plans, preparing summary plan descriptions and other employee communications, and correcting retirement plan qualification failures through IRS correction programs. She also has experience in conducting internal employee benefits compliance audits for client benefit plans.

Julia is a co-author of the article "Should Your Company Be Providing Domestic Partner Benefits?  Legal, Tax and Financial Considerations" that appeared in the July 1998 issue of the Metropolitan Corporate Counsel.

Julia received her bachelor’s degree, cum laude, in 1990 from Vanderbilt University and her Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) designation in 2002.
