Jane E. Dudzinski represents organizations and individuals in the areas of complex civil litigation, white collar crime, securities enforcement proceedings, government investigations and related litigation, and qui tam litigation. She handles all phases of litigation for clients in industries including financial services, consumer services, and healthcare. In the healthcare industry, Jane has defended companies in False Claims Act (FCA) actions. In addition to her litigation and investigation work, she maintains an active pro bono practice.
Jane’s practice includes representing retail pharmacies in healthcare fraud and abuse matters before US Attorneys’ Offices and State Attorneys General Offices. She has also represented pharmaceutical manufacturers in matters before the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) and in related litigation.
Jane has also represented broker-dealers, investment advisers, and public companies and their officers in SEC investigations. These matters have related to insider trading, disclosure fraud, recruiting and supervision practices, and regulatory compliance.
While in law school, Jane was an extern for Judge Rebecca R. Pallmeyer of the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. She also represented clients for the Illinois Innocence Project and served as a legal writing teaching assistant. In addition, she was an articles editor for the University of Illinois Law Review, where she published her article “Justification for Juries: A Comparative Perspective on Models of Jury Composition.”
