Jennifer K. Ng, Ph.D. focuses her practice on patent preparation and prosecution, patent portfolio development and management, and IP due diligence for biotechnology and pharmaceutical clients, particularly in the areas of diagnostics, gene-based therapy, cell therapies, and immunotherapies. Jennifer has broad experience working with clients in industry and academia on IP matters, including procuring domestic and international patent protections, assisting with patent opinions and due diligence, and performing patentability and freedom-to-operate analyses.
Prior to entering patent law, Jennifer conducted post-doctoral research on characterization of stem cell derived cardiomyocytes. During her Ph.D. studies in developmental biology, she researched gene expression networks controlling cell differentiation.
