John M. Maloy is part of a team of lawyers that advises clients in business and corporate disputes, white collar litigation and government investigations, criminal defense, and complex commercial litigation, including class actions. John’s white collar work focuses on defense of clients in qui tam lawsuits and investigations arising under the False Claims Act, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, and a variety of other provisions of federal and state law. While in law school, John was development editor of the Georgetown Immigration Law Journal.
Represented a multinational financial services company in dismissals of two recent False Claims Act dismissals.
Defended a national drug wholesale company in criminal and civil federal investigations involving alleged violations of the False Claims Act and Anti-Kickback Statute.
Represented an individual under investigation by FINRA and SEC for financial trading violations.
Represented separate pro bono clients in a parole revocation hearing, a Social Security Disability hearing, and visa proceedings.
