Jitsuro Morishita devotes his practice to resolving complex global disputes mainly in the areas of intellectual property and antitrust. He has advised clients in a wide range of technologies, including wireless communications, digital cameras, GPS navigation, semiconductors, medical devices, robots, and internet-related technology, with respect to disputes surrounding patents, and has more than 15 years of experience litigating before federal district courts and international arbitration centers, and at the International Trade Commission.
From Morgan Lewis’s Tokyo office, Jitsuro handles patent clearance and opinion work, as well as drafting of license agreements. Jitsuro also specializes in handling patent transfer transactions.
Early in his career, Jitsuro worked in-house for two Japanese technology companies with global operations, gaining unique knowledge and a profound understanding of Japanese company cultures.
Jitsuro is admitted in the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the District of Columbia, and California only.
