Jonathan Ng advises venture capital and private equity clients on investments in private funds, formation and structuring, regulatory compliance, and on secondary sales of portfolio interests. Jon also represents technology company clients in a broad range of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions and general corporate governance matters. Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Jon worked in the legal and policy departments of Silicon Valley technology companies, where he advised cross-functional teams on strategic alliances, joint ventures, data privacy, and technology transfer matters including licensing and sale of intellectual property in mergers and acquisitions.
Jon maintains an active pro bono practice advising nonprofits and small businesses in their entity formation, governance, and general corporate matters. While in law school, Jon worked closely with teams from the Fuqua School of Business, advising on corporate governance issues and blockchain related projects.
