Joshua S. Richardson represents clients in domestic and international tax disputes, and advises multinational companies on tax issues related to cross-border transactions. Josh assists clients on international tax planning, representing them in cross-border lending and refinancing transactions and matters involving foreign currency taxation and hedging of foreign currency risks. Additionally, he counsels on the foreign tax credit and Subpart F planning.
Josh also has an active pro bono practice, which includes representation of a Cook County detainee in a civil rights action. Before joining Morgan Lewis, Josh was a partner in the tax practice of another global law firm, resident in Chicago.
