Jason M. Steele counsels clients throughout many facets of traditional labor law and employment litigation. On behalf of clients, he has prevented strikes, work slowdowns, and union action in collective bargaining negotiations. Along with appearing before labor arbitrators and the NLRB, Jason also partners with clients during employment litigation and counseling. He represents clients in discrimination, harassment, unfair competition, and family leave cases, among other employment law issues, as well as wage and hour disputes
Jason has particular experience with manufacturing and transportation industry clients, among others.
In the realm of preventive practice, Jason helps employers stay abreast of California’s complicated, shifting employment laws. He guides clients through issues that include meal and rest period compliance, overtime, sexual harassment, accommodating disabilities, and trade secret protection.
