Karen Y. Cho represents management in all types of employment disputes ranging from single-plaintiff litigation to class and collective action matters. Karen has experience litigating and trying cases in both state and federal courts, and in arbitration and administrative settings. She advises employers on a broad range of employment law matters, including those involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, failure to accommodate, wrongful termination, breach of contract, and wage and hour compliance. Karen also regularly provides workplace training and conducts internal investigations for companies from startups to the Fortune 500.
During law school, Karen was on the Pepperdine Law Review and was in the Phi Delta Phi International Legal Honor Society. She earned first place at the ABA Regional Negotiation Competition and was a semi-finalist at the ABA National Negotiation Competition. Karen was also a judicial extern for Judge Valerie Baker Fairbank of the US District Court for the Central District of California for two semesters. After law school, Karen served as a guest lecturer at the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution.
