Karun Cariappa advises on securities offerings across Asia with a particular focus on India. Karun has more than 14 years of corporate and securities law experience, representing corporate issuers, selling shareholders, and investment banks in Asia. Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, he was co-head of the India practice at another global law firm.
Karun’s practice covers advising corporate issuers, selling shareholders, and underwriters on initial public offerings, follow-on offerings, offers for sale, private placements, block trades, bond offerings, and bond restructurings. Across his career, he has advised on more than 50 completed transactions and has experience with public and private offerings of securities. Karun is fluent in English, Hindi, and Kannada.
