Kathleen H. Shannon represents clients in litigation, regulation, and enforcement matters. Kathleen has experience in government investigations and examinations, as well as internal investigations and corporate compliance and due diligence reviews. She also counsels various financial institutions on investment management issues, including trading, disclosure, and other regulatory matters.
Prior to attending law school, Kathleen worked as a policy assistant in the Virginia Governor’s Office.
While attending law school, Kathleen served as a judicial intern in the office of Judge Mary Ellen Coster Williams at the US Court of Federal Claims. She was also a member of the Virginia Law and Business Review and served on the Managing Board as articles editor. As a summer associate, Kathleen assisted on a multiweek civil jury trial involving complex securities issues.
