Kelci L. Atkins works with clients facing serial and mass tort litigation involving product liability and toxic tort liability, with a particular emphasis on implementing product-focused defense strategies. As part of a team focused on developing coordinated national defense strategies, Kelci uses her in-depth knowledge of the industry and products at issue, along with litigation metrics to help design a targeted defense strategy for each client.
Her other experience includes insurance recovery litigation, oil and gas litigation and other complex commercial litigation disputes, white collar criminal defense, and internal corporate investigations.
With an active pro bono practice, Kelci participates in the Missouri City Municipal Court Volunteer Prosecutor Program, where she has successfully tried 10 cases to jury verdicts as a first-chair trial lawyer. She also has successfully worked with numerous clients regarding immigration issues, including obtaining Special Immigrant Juvenile Status and U-Visas.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Kelci served as a law clerk to Justice Terry Jennings of the Texas First Court of Appeals.
