Kenneth R. Earley advises U.S. registered investment companies and their investment advisers on a wide variety of regulatory, compliance, and corporate matters. Ken also advises boards of directors/trustees of U.S. registered investment companies on fund governance and fiduciary oversight matters.
Ken has assisted clients with the development and launch of new funds, regulatory and compliance matters relating to existing funds, fund reorganizations and adoptions, and requests for no-action and exemptive relief from the Securities and Exchange Commission. He has also assisted clients on matters arising under the Commodity Exchange Act and CFTC regulations affecting their businesses, including requirements on commodity pool operators or commodity trading advisors.
Before joining Morgan Lewis, Ken served in compliance/regulatory functions at a Boston-based hedge fund and at a Boston-based investment adviser/fund complex, and was an associate in the financial services group of an international law firm in their Boston office.
