Lakeisha R. Andress represents and counsels employers in a wide range of federal, state, and local employment matters, including government and internal investigations, single-plaintiff cases, reductions in force, administrative charges, class and collective actions, and large-scale mergers, acquisitions, and reorganizations. She also strategically counsels employers on employee policies, employment agreements, restrictive covenant agreements, separation agreements, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and general employment law compliance. Her practice primarily focuses on navigating issues arising under Title VII, the FLSA, EPA, ADEA, ADA, and FMLA.
Lakeisha also maintains an active pro bono practice, including successfully obtaining a reduced sentence and compassionate release for a client with vulnerable medical conditions who had been incarcerated at a facility with widespread COVID-19 cases.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Lakeisha was an associate at another global law firm. While in law school, she served as a student attorney for the Harvard Prison Legal Assistance Project and as a judicial intern at the Massachusetts Appeals Court.
