A. Lauren Carpenter represents clients from a range of industries in complex business and commercial disputes in both US state and federal court. Her background includes consulting and writing in complex civil litigation and appellate practice. Lauren handles litigation in a variety of legal areas, including contracts and commercial torts, and has defended several law firms against legal malpractice claims.

Lauren also litigates cases involving the False Claims Act, and insurance, securities, environmental, constitutional, antitrust, bankruptcy, and employment disputes. Through her active pro bono practice, she represented a wife in spousal support proceedings. The case led to a ruling on a matter of first impression by the Pennsylvania Superior Court.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Lauren practiced at major law firms in Boston and Dallas.
