Leah Veronica Olores represents asset managers and other financial institutions in the structuring, formation, and registration of investment funds including advice and assistance with financial regulatory matters. Her previous experience includes working for a leading international law firm in New York representing issuers, underwriters, asset managers, and investors in structured finance transactions including advice on broadly syndicated and middle-market CLOs, leveraged loan warehouse facilities, risk retention financing, and regulatory advice on asset-backed securities offerings in the public and private markets. Leah is fluent in Filipino and is admitted in New York only.
Prior to working for another law firm, Leah was a foreign counsel in a boutique law firm in Indonesia, representing investors and multi-national companies in cross-border project development, acquisition, and financing transactions including regulatory advice and corporate documentation mainly in the oil, gas and energy sector. Leah was also an associate in another global firm in New York where she sat with the banking and finance group, focusing on securitization and structured finance.
