Liza G. Hays is developing her practice in complex business and securities litigation. She represents clients on a wide variety of matters, including contractual disputes and business torts, class action claims, and internal investigations. Active in pro bono work, Liza has worked on international family law issues and the drafting and filing of a petition for writ of certiorari to the United States Supreme Court.
While in law school at the Northeastern University School of Law, Liza was a judicial intern Judge Jennifer C. Boal, magistrate judge of the US District Court (D. Mass.). She was also an intern at the Suffolk County District Attorney’s office in the senior trial and homicide units. Also during law school, Liza served as a law clerk in the Office of General Counsel at Boston University.
Prior to law school, Liza worked for several years as a political campaign consultant, focused on grassroots campaign strategies for both national and state elections. Liza also served for two years as the philanthropy manager at Massachusetts College of Art and Design.
