Lauren E. Marzullo represents employers in diverse matters, including wage and hour class and collective actions, discrimination claims, and retaliation claims. Her work also includes defending complex class and collective actions, and single-plaintiff discrimination and harassment claims. Lauren defends whistleblower actions under the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, the Food Safety Modernization Act, and the Consumer Financial Protection Act. She also litigates unfair competition and trade secret matters across the United States.
In addition to her litigation practice, Lauren counsels employers in a broad range of industries on compliance with US federal, state, and local labor and employment laws. Lauren regularly counsels clients on avoiding contractor misclassification and joint and coemployment liability. She also counsels clients on discrimination, discipline, discharge, harassment, retaliation, reductions in force, leaves of absence, restrictive covenants, privacy rights, wage and hour matters, and other personnel decisions.
Lauren also participates in the firm’s pro bono practice. She previously served as the vice chair of the Pro Bono Committee for the firm’s Pittsburgh office, and she regularly represents pro bono clients in protection from abuse and other matters.
