Louis R. Levenson, Ph.D., focuses his practice on preparing and prosecuting US and non-US patent applications, and providing support for intellectual property (IP) due diligence, patentability and freedom-to-operate analyses, and technical analysis for IP litigation and inter partes review. Louis has prepared patent applications for companies ranging from startups to the Fortune 100. Prior to his career in patent prosecution, Louis was a postdoctoral scholar in the Observational Cosmology Group at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech), and is co-author of over 50 refereed publications.
Louis's experience in relevant arts include mobile devices, wearable devices, device displays, spacecraft and space systems, electronic messaging, machine learning, oil and gas extraction, electronic commerce, and imaging systems and devices.
