Lucy Wang has broad experience representing financial institutions and high-tech companies in complex and cross-border disputes. Lucy’s practice focuses on securities and regulatory actions as well as a range of intellectual property and commercial litigation. She has been recognized as a Rising Star in Securities Litigation by SuperLawyers.

Lucy has represented issuers, underwriting firms and individuals in connection with class action litigation, shareholder derivative actions and investigations conducted by the Securities and Exchange Commission and Department of Justice. Her representative matters include advising former officers of a US-based HDTV maker in a securities regulatory investigation of allegedly fraudulent transactions with suppliers and customers in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and the PRC. Lucy has also advised an international food and beverage conglomerate in a multijurisdictional action against certain parties affiliated with its PRC joint venture partner for misuse of proprietary information.
In 2013, Lucy practiced as a Registered Foreign Lawyer in Hong Kong. While in Hong Kong, she advised an ad hoc noteholder group in connection with the global restructuring of a distressed solar panel manufacturer with operations in the PRC. In addition, Lucy advised clients on litigation and arbitration strategies concerning contractual disputes in the region. She now provides valuable insights on formal and informal dispute resolution practices in Asia Pacific jurisdictions.
Lucy has a degree in physics and philosophy from Yale University. She previously interned at the US office of a major PRC law firm, where she worked on issues of PRC corporate and intellectual property law.
