Lyric Chen defends clients in federal securities actions, business and shareholder disputes, and other complex commercial litigation. Lyric also has experience representing multinational corporations in enforcement actions by the Securities and Exchange Commission and Department of Justice. She has been part of multiple trial teams in federal district courts, and has experience with all phases of the litigation process, from pre-complaint investigations through trial and appeals. She also has been part of a successful mediation.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Lyric was a law clerk to Judge Jane R. Roth on the US Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and Judge Legrome D. Davis on the US District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Previously, Lyric was a litigation associate at the Washington, DC office of a large international law firm. She has published multiple law review articles on U.S. and Chinese white collar enforcement.
