Maggie McDowell advises clients in a broad range of employment disputes, including wage and hour, discrimination, retaliation, and harassment litigation. Maggie represents employers in highly sensitive and complex employment litigation including class and collective actions and single-plaintiff cases. She also has experience investigating workplace misconduct, including sensitive sexual misconduct and whistleblower matters, and regularly advises employers on appropriate responses and remediation measures.

In addition to her litigation and investigation practice, Maggie counsels clients spanning diverse sectors on a variety of employment issues, including personnel decisions, workplace policies, and compliance with federal and local laws. Maggie’s counseling practice also focuses on pay equity matters, such as advising clients on pay equity and salary disclosure laws and conducting pay equity analyses, including comprehensive internal statistical and policy audits.

Maggie has a strong commitment to pro bono work. She provides pro bono counseling and training on various employment law matters for nonprofit organizations and serves on the board of directors of Philly VIP.
