Mariellen D. Bello

Mariellen’s litigation experience includes managing fact discovery, interviewing and preparing witnesses, conducting depositions, and advocating for clients at hearings and trials. She has mediated countless claims to successful resolution. Her experience also includes drafting severance agreements, handbooks, and providing nuanced advice regarding disability accommodations, family and medical leave, reductions in force, wage and hour audits, and developing legal trends.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Mariellen practiced employment law at a national firm and a boutique labor and employment law firm. She is a frequent speaker for continuing legal education seminars on issues such as best practices in EEOC proceedings, discovery tactics, electronic discovery, evidence authentication, wage and hour claims, and workplace misconduct investigations.

Mariellen has a strong commitment to pro bono work and, in connection with the Montgomery Child Advocacy Project, regularly represents abused and neglected children.
