Mark A. Lazaroff counsels public utilities, energy companies, and other clients on regulatory issues and transactional matters. Mark represents natural gas, water, and wastewater utilities before public utility commissions, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, and in litigation, and works with clients to secure necessary governmental approvals to construct energy infrastructure projects. Mark also represents clients in negotiating engineering, procurement, and construction agreements related to energy projects (solar, wind, and liquefied natural gas facilities), power purchase agreements, and other distributed energy and renewable credit purchase agreements (solar, wind, and storage).
Mark was previously an associate with an international law firm in its utilities, energy, and environmental practice group, with a focus on New Jersey and Pennsylvania public utility issues and energy infrastructure development. Prior to law school, he served as an aide to the Chairman of the White House Council on Environmental Quality.
