Matthew (Matt) T. Bohenek focuses his practice on representing financial institutions in securities related disputes and regulatory enforcement matters. He has assisted in defending broker-dealers and other financial services firms against private claims as well as in investigations and enforcement actions brought by the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, and state regulators. Matt advises on internal investigations, regulatory reporting requirements, third-party subpoenas, and general litigation issues at both the trial and appellate levels.
During law school, Matt was managing editor of the Cornell Journal of Law and Public Policy and a member of the Moot Court Board. Prior to attending law school, he worked for AmeriCorps. Matt is also active in pro bono matters.
