Melina R. DiMattio focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation, with experience in class actions, civil fraud, breach of contract, and product liability cases. As part of her civil litigation practice, Melina also represents clients in qui tam lawsuits arising under the False Claims Act and Anti-Kickback Statute, antitrust litigation, and bankruptcy litigation. Melina has knowledge across a broad range of industries, and most recently has focused her practice in the healthcare and life sciences industries, primarily for pharmaceutical and medical device clients.
Melina has experience with all phases of the litigation process, from pre-complaint investigations through trial. Recently, Melina co-chaired an 11-day bench trial in which she conducted a multiday examination of a key witness.
Melina is a member of the firm’s Recruiting Committee. Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Melina clerked for Judge Norma L. Shapiro of the US District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
