Melanie is an associate at Morgan Lewis Stamford LLC, a Singapore law corporation affiliated with Morgan, Lewis & Bockius.
Melanie Hong assists clients primarily on capital markets and corporate finance matters. Her work covers equity and debt capital-raising. This includes initial and secondary public offerings, private placements, bonus issues, and rights issues of listed ordinary and preference shares, high-yield and convertible bonds, warrants, and perpetual capital securities. She also counsels clients on pre-listing private equity and strategic investments. Having spent a year and a half abroad in Shanghai at Fudan University, Faculty of Law, while also concurrently interning at a Chinese law firm where she assisted with various corporate cross-border transactions, Melanie is fluent in Mandarin.
While pursuing her studies at the National University of Singapore, Melanie was awarded the NUS Undergraduate (Merit) Scholarship and was placed on the Dean’s List in 2009 for academic excellence.
