Michel Yves Horton counsels and represents Fortune 500 companies in insurance recovery disputes involving toxic torts, environmental property damage, and personal injury matters, as well as medical device and other product recalls. He represents clients in bench and jury trials in US federal and state courts, and helps clients draft specialty market insurance policies through domestic insurers and offshore captives, particularly in relation to future environmental and toxic tort exposures.
Michel also handles product liability defense and commercial litigation matters, including class actions. He has experience serving as lead counsel on insurance-related litigation for a range of clients, including retailers, technology enterprises, publishers, energy suppliers, and insulation companies and for clients involved in asbestos-related matters.
