Michael A. De Giovanni focuses his practice on litigation, regulatory, and compliance matters before the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), and other financial regulators. Michael is fluent in Spanish.
Michael interned for Judge Peter R. Lopez of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida and at the Miami Regional Office of the SEC. While in law school, Michael traveled to Morocco to research laws restricting LGBT rights and interview human rights activists working to overturn these laws. He also served as treasurer for both the Latino Law Student Association and the host committee that brought over 150 law students from 34 law schools to Northwestern University for the 19th Annual National Latino Law Student Association’s Moot Court Competition and Conference.
