Michael R. Sherman advises issuers, underwriters, and other market participants in securitizations, synthetic securitizations, pass-through transactions, risk transfer transactions, warehouse facilities, and other capital markets transactions.
Mike regularly represents issuers and underwriters in connection with the private issuance of asset-backed securities, asset-backed warehouse facilities, asset-backed commercial paper financing, receivables purchase agreements, repo facilities and other secured credit facilities. He has experience with many types of financial assets and other collateral, including student loans, credit card receivables, equipment loans and leases, equipment plan receivables, residential mortgages, multifamily mortgages, automobile loans and leases, dealer floorplan financing, unsecured consumer loans, trade receivables, and commercial loan participations. Mike also has experience representing buyers and sellers in connection with the purchase and sale of loan portfolios.
