Monica C. Pedroza represents clients in a variety of litigation matters, including insurance coverage, products liability, toxic tort, and environmental disputes. She also maintains an active pro bono practice. Prior to law school, Monica was an honors paralegal at the US Department of Justice, Environment and Natural Resources Division. In 2011, she was awarded the Attorney General’s Distinguished Service Award for her contributions to the Everglades Water Quality Litigation team.
While attending law school, Monica served as president of the Latino Law Student Association and as attorney general of the National Latino Law Student Association. Having worked with Northwestern’s Center on Wrongful Conviction of Youth and tutored for Chicago Youth Programs, she is passionate about juvenile justice issues and reform.
