A member of Morgan Lewis’s private investment funds team, Noel Ainsworth concentrates his practice on private investment fund structuring, formation, operation, and investment. Noel has experience with buyout, venture, infrastructure, real estate, debt, and distressed funds; the structuring, formation, and operation of fund of funds and secondary funds; and secondary market purchases and sales of private fund interests. Noel also represents many significant investors in private investment funds, coinvestments, and segregated accounts.
Noel is recognized as a leading private funds lawyer by the Chambers UK and UK Legal 500 directories. He also won Finance Monthly’s “UK Private Funds Lawyer of the Year” award in 2010 for advising on a private equity funds merger.
A frequent speaker at private equity conferences and events, Noel also participates in events sponsored by the British Venture Capital Association, the UK’s private equity industry trade organization.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Noel was a partner in the private funds practice of an international law firm, resident in its London office.
