Nick Floyd counsels clients on litigation and intellectual property issues. He works with others at Morgan Lewis to help businesses address investigations, lawsuits, and disputes, including protecting, enforcing, and defending intellectual property rights. Nick also dedicates time to his pro bono practice, where he advises clients on numerous issues ranging from asylum to landlord-tenant issues.
Nick was a chemical engineer before he became a lawyer. During his time working for an international petrochemical company, Nick gained experience in olefins production, plastics production, and specialty chemical processing, as well as downstream processing and project management. The technologies involved included zeigler-natta and metallacine catalysts, specialty service pumps and compressors, high-pressure reactors, mechanical cutting, and numerous other technologies protected by trade secret.
