Nicholas E. Hakun represents US and international organizations in a variety of high-stakes complex matters including white collar litigation, government investigations, complex commercial litigation, and antitrust matters. Nick represents clients in a variety of industries, including pharmaceutical, medical, and global transportation.
While in law school, Nick served as a senior editor for The Tax Lawyer and was an active member of the Trial Advocacy team. Nick also participated the DC Law Students in Court clinic, where he represented low-income tenants in Landlord Tenant Court. He has also previously worked as an intern for the US Department of Justice Civil Division Fraud Section, the Department of Homeland Security Office of the Principal Legal Advisor, as served as a summer intern to Magistrate Judge Richard A. Lloret in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Prior to attending law school, Nick worked as a high school mathematics teacher as a member of Teach for America in Cleveland, Mississippi.
