Nicole Gow’s private investment funds practice includes both investor and fund sponsor representation. Nicole has experience advising on primary investments, secondary investments, co-investments, and fund formations, with a focus on the private equity, infrastructure, and credit/debt sectors. Clients include leading international fund managers and a range of global institutional investors including pension plans, fund of funds investors, banks, and sovereign wealth funds. Nicole also has experience advising on financial services regulatory issues in the investment funds industry.
Nicole’s regulatory experience includes advising on the UK Financial Services and Markets Act 2000, the rules of the Financial Conduct Authority, and the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (AIFMD) regulatory regime.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Nicole was an associate in the London office of an international law firm, where she acted for a range of international financial institutions on transactional and financial services regulatory matters. Nicole was also seconded to two international banks where she worked on international M&A transactions and financial services regulatory issues.
