Nathan W. McCutcheon enforces patents on behalf of US and international businesses, and defends clients accused of patent infringement. He advises clients across the spectrum of patent litigation issues, including prelitigation counseling, discovery, motions practice, claim construction hearings, fact and expert depositions, and at trial. His work on behalf of clients has resulted in multimillion-dollar judgments. Nathan’s technical knowledge and experience encompass semiconductor design and manufacturing, liquid crystal display technology, computer architecture, medical devices, and business methods.
Some of Nathan’s significant cases include LifeNet Health v. MTF, US Dist. Ct. for E.D. Va. (2007), which resulted in a $23 million judgment, and L.G. Philips LCD Co. v. Chunghwa Picture Tubes, U.S. Dist. Ct. for C.D. Cal. (2006), which resulted in a $53.5 million judgment.
