Peter Byrne advises clients on intellectual property matters, with a focus on trademark and copyright issues. Peter helps clients secure, license, and enforce trademark rights. He has litigated intellectual property matters in federal court and before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. Peter’s pro bono practice includes immigration, prisoners’ rights, and intellectual property work.
Peter earned his J.D., cum laude, from Harvard Law School after earning his undergraduate degree with high distinction from the University of California, Berkeley. He spent his first-year summer working on criminal defense matters at the Federal Defenders Office in Boston. Prior to law school, Peter helped his father found a clean energy design firm in California. He also worked as a sportswriter for several newspapers.
