Petra Kupka focuses her practice on all aspects of EU, French, and Belgian competition law and regulation, including merger control, cartels, abuse of dominance, litigation, State aid, and distribution law, and regularly advises on financial services regulatory issues. Petra represents clients in proceedings before the European Commission and other national competition authorities. She also coordinates competition merger filings in different jurisdictions and frequently represents clients in litigation before European courts. She is fluent in Slovak, English, French, and Czech. Petra is admitted in Brussels only.
Petra’s experience spans a variety of industries, including energy, financial services, transportation, retail and ecommerce, as well as life sciences and media.
Petra also counsels on agreements and issues relating to requests for information, advising on complex competition compliance matters.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Petra worked as an associate in the Brussels office of a French boutique law firm and as an in-house lawyer in the competition and contract law department of Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations in Paris.
