Paul C. Evans represents employers at the US state, federal, and appellate level in employment discrimination class actions, wage and hour cases, multiplaintiff and complex litigation, and other labor and employment matters. He also defends clients facing challenges to employer-selection devices such as pre-employment tests and credit and criminal record checks. Paul counsels clients in the entertainment, retail, telecommunications, technology, and insurance industries with matters in jurisdictions across the United States. Paul serves as the operations partner for the firm’s labor and employment practice.
His practice encompasses single-plaintiff discrimination, trade secrets protection, unfair competition, and health and safety litigation.
Along with his litigation work, Paul counsels employers on diversity initiatives, workforce change matters, executive compensation, succession planning issues, and day-to-day employment issues. To help clients avoid class action lawsuits, Paul conducts comprehensive internal statistical and policy audits, including annual compensation analyses.
