Patrick T. Trunzo provides assistance to clients in complying with the legal requirements associated with their qualified retirement and health and welfare programs. Pat assists clients in designing, drafting, and amending their 401(k) and defined benefit retirement plans and in addressing day-to-day administrative issues related to the plans. He also helps clients with identifying and correcting plan failures, preparing governmental filings, and responding to governmental inquiries related to their plans.
In addition, Pat helps clients comply with ERISA, Internal Revenue Code, and other requirements related to their medical, dental, and other health and welfare plans. This includes designing and preparing plan documentation and employee communications and counseling on all aspects of benefit plan administration and compliance.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Pat served as counsel in the employee benefits practice of a mid-sized law firm and was a manager with a large international consulting firm in its human capital practice.
