Richard Liu serves clients as a management-side defense lawyer. He regularly advises Fortune 500 companies on labor and employment matters, including traditional labor practices before the National Labor Relations Board, employment disputes relating to pay, benefits, harassment, and discrimination in federal and state courts, and workforce risk assessment in international mergers and acquisitions. His clients are in diverse industries, including technology, healthcare, manufacturing, entertainment, and financial services.
Richard is known for his business acumen and his ability to develop legal strategies incorporating his clients’ business objectives. Facing complex labor and employment situations, Richard can pinpoint practical risks, provide innovative and effective solutions, and obtain favorable outcomes for his clients. Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Richard had interned for the US District Court and the US Attorney’s Office in the Central District of California.
