Robert G. Robison guides private equity funds through acquisition activities, and counsels public and private companies through strategic acquisitions and divestiture transactions. Bob represents sponsors, strategic co-investors, and management in leveraged buyouts. He also advises clients on financial services transactions, as well as restructuring and workout transactions. Additionally, Bob represents several Asian and European enterprises on their strategic investment activities.
Bob’s cross-border work includes change-of-control acquisitions, minority investments, and joint venture transactions. He also counsels these companies on related corporate matters, such as trademark licensing, products distributions, and technology transfers. He is a member of the firm’s special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) Task Force.

FTAC Olympus Acquisition Corp., a special purpose acquisition company, in a definitive agreement and plan of reorganization with Payoneer Inc., a global payment and commerce-enabling platform leveraged by millions of digital businesses worldwide
Apollo Global Management in its $305 million acquisition of Qdoba Restaurant Corporation, a fast-casual restaurant chain, from Jack in the Box, Inc.
