Sam Sadeghi's practice focuses on defending employers in complex employment litigation before state and federal courts as well as government agencies. He represents employers in class actions and single-plaintiff lawsuits involving wage and hour disputes, discrimination, harassment, trade secrets, whistleblowing, retaliation and wrongful discharge. Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Sam practiced in the Orange County office of an elite international law firm, where he represented clients in employment, business, and securities litigation.
While in law school, Sam served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Alex Kozinski of the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He also served as a legal research assistant for the Honorable Michael W. McConnell at the Stanford University Hoover Institution.
Sam received his Juris Doctor degree from the UCLA School of Law, where he served as Managing Editor of the UCLA Law Review and as a legal writing advisor to first-year law students. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Political Science from Texas Christian University, where he graduated summa cum laude and as a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
Sam is admitted to practice before all state courts in California, the US Courts of Appeals for the Third and Ninth Circuits, and the US District Courts for the Central, Eastern, Northern, and Southern Districts of California.
