Sara E. DeStefano is part of a team that advises clients on a broad range of labor and employment matters, including litigation and counseling. She helps employers and management resolve issues, including discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour disputes, and compliance with federal, state, and local labor and employment laws and regulations. Sara is fluent in Spanish.

While in law school, Sara served as an editor on the Virginia Law Review and as an articles editor on the Virginia Journal of Criminal Law. She co-directed the Immigration Law Program and Migrant Farmworker Pro Bono Project. Sara also represented individuals in the Criminal Defense Clinic and through an externship with an immigration nonprofit organization. She continues to work on matters relating to immigration and criminal defense as part of her pro bono practice at Morgan Lewis.

Sara interned for Judge Sidney I. Schenkier in the Northern District of Illinois in the summer of 2017.

Before law school, Sara taught English on a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant grant in Lima, Peru.
